The Tigers

Living History Group
We are a WW2 reenactment group portraying the 1st Bn Leicestershire Regiment and the 2nd Bn (Airborne) Ox and Bucks Light Infantry Regiment. We aim to accurately recreate the wartime experience of the ordinary British soldier during the Normandy Campaign 1944. Our Living History encampment allows visitors to discover the weapons, equipment, medical treatments, pastimes and food of a British army encampment.

We also demonstrate the other services that aided the British soldier in 1944. Our members also portray the Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Military Nursing Service and the Resistance movements in during the liberation of Europe.
