Debbie Laver Best event in the county. More camping pitches on jubilee park required though. Only negative comment is that we couldn’t enjoy the entertainment in the VIP area outside the pub. The wire fences looked scruffy and spoilt it.
Dave Corby Alison Grant I managed to visit the festival both days for our very 1st time and overall found it to everything that friends had said it would be ! Brilliant, fantastic, excellent and loads more !!!! Only couple of gripes would be a later bus to the carparks stagger the bus drivers start times maybe and get the farmer to cut this grass please !
We will be back next year should it be on !!!
Mark Lofthouse First ever visit this year and left it to late to book in with my jeep and tent so Day tripped it on Saturday . Excellent event and the park and ride for a fiver for two of us was excellent, paid more for two ice creams! Only complaint is there’s too much to see in one day !! Keep up the good work and see you next year for two days .
Bev Louise Excellent weekend. Stayed at woodhall country park. Visited the village/festival Friday Saturday Sunday. Just couldn’t get enough. Need the dates for next year so we can book it. Still so much to see and do. Very emotional and enjoyable too. We did over 25,000 steps and was still wanting more. Thank you so so much, it’s the high light of our year. We also met a beautiful lady who was a land girl in the war. That was a special moment. Hats off to all the committee you deserve the rest. Looking forward to next year. Thank you.
Mike Jackson Fabulous event as always we arrived Friday afternoon and went home Sunday about 5. So much to see and do. The lady on the gate at the Petwood was extremely helpful and smiley all weekend and all your volunteers were friendly and very helpful. Keep up the good work.
Denise Barritt As a stall holders point of view…setting up was on the Friday, but visitors were buying from us whilst climbing over our boxes. Great for business thank you but should it be a 3 day event as we weren’t ready. Luckily we turned up on Thursday and got all tables out, ready to put stock out Friday.
We had a fantastic show as always. Wonderful customers and happy traders.

Trish Carroll Absolutely fab weekend, our 1st but it will not be our last. Really enjoyed dressing up for the occasion. A huge well done to everyone involved in the organisation. We were shocked that there was not one piece of litter around during and after the event. Can’t wait for next year.

Jade Manchett We’ve been the last 5 years in a row, my children (aged 1, 3, 5 and 6) absolutely love attending and it’s such an amazing tradition for them to grow up with! They enjoy dressing up and learning about how life was in the war and my eldest was in awe when she got to meet a real life soldier who fought in WW2 – she said she will treasure the post card he gave her forever! There is no better way to teach them!! Please never stop

Paul Sacks A cracking day on Sunday. Spoke to a number of event staff and asked questions which were answered and all of them really helpful, special mention to the guys manning car park C and our coach driver. Well organised and very enjoyable, many thanks to all involved in a great event.
Travelling Duck Plucker Brilliant. Was worth putting up all that bunting and posters in both St Peters Church Hall & Coronation Hall – and taking it all down again!!! Amazing to see so many people enjoying themselves whether dressing 40s style and/or swinging/jiving/strolling/waltzing, admiring the vintage vehicles, watching the reenactments, listening to a whole host of various different vocalists or Churchill & his speeches. Never realised either how large the event was with such a variety of different events going on all over the village at a number of venues 👍😊
