About the Venue

kinema_218The Kinema in the Woods, known as the ‘The Flicks in the Sticks’ by the hundreds of servicemen and women who were entertained there during the Second World War, was converted from a cricket pavilion in 1922 by Captain Allport. Today with its unique back projection, and the opening of a second screen in 1994, you can catch all the latest movies, as well as some timely classics.
