Park & Ride Online Booking

car parking

To ensure that congestion and disruption in the Village is minimised visitor parking will not be permitted in the centre of the Village and extensive no parking/no waiting restrictions will be imposed and monitored by Lincolnshire County Council Traffic Enforcement Officers.

It is therefore essential that all visitors follow the event signage and use the official car park which is closest to their route into Woodhall. See the map below for car park locations.

A frequent Park and Ride bus service will be operated from each of the car parks.  The buses will commence their service at 9am and run on a continual basis to and from Woodhall Spa throughout both days of the Festival.

Disabled Parking

Dedicated disabled parking spaces will be available in SPITFIRE 1 Car Park  (car park nearest to the village centre). These spaces are alongside the Park & Ride bus pick up point. Buses on this route have good wheelchair accessibility.
From SPITFIRE 1 there is a good route into Woodhall suitable for pedestrians, mobility scooters and wheelchairs, via Forest Pines Lane, Wentworth Way and Witham Road.
A drop off point, for disabled passengers is located on Stanhope Avenue  in the centre of Woodhall just next to The Inn.

DAKOTA Car Park, to the south of the village,  is the most suitable for motorbikes. Large areas have a concrete or tarmac surface.

Dogs are not allowed on the park & ride buses.

As nonsensical as it may seem, if you live near a car park and want to use the park & ride buses to get into the centre of Woodhall, you will have to pay and park your car in your chosen car park. Bus drivers cannot accept money and can only take passengers from cars parked in the car parks.

Opening Times

Please note that the last bus to each car park will depart the village at 5.45pm on both days. Car parks will open at 8am and close at 7pm on both days of the Festival.

The parking charge is a flat rate for the whole day and includes the bus rides in and out.

Pre book your space on line and pay £7.
Pay on the day for £10.

Pre booking guarantees you a car parking space in the car park of your choice, is cheaper and quick and easy – car parking HERE

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all and to help secure the continued support of the residents of Woodhall Spa for future Festivals, we were most grateful to our visitors for their cooperation and compliance with this car parking policy.

We hope you all have a fantastic 1940s Festival weekend.

[Disclaimer: The Woodhall Spa 1940s Festival does not accept any responsibility for cars that are parked in any of the designated car parks; all cars are parked at the owner’s risk.]
